The Challenges Facing Higher Ed Websites
Building websites for colleges and universities can be difficult. After all, you need to manage dozens of degree programs & majors, hundreds of pages of information, and countless PDFs and links for resources, scholarship applications, and compliance documents. All the while, a college website needs to speak directly to a variety of audiences – prospective students & parents, current students, faculty & staff, alumni, and donors – making sure each audience can easily find what they are looking for.

Much of the praise went to our focus on the design and user experience (UX); our experienced, UX-certified designer used industry best practices and research to present the content in a way that’s appealing and practical.

“Lancaster Bible College has an excellent site across the board: UX, UI, design, and architecture. The aesthetic is highly functional and I think it’s the right one as opposed to ‘artsy,’ which wouldn’t be as effective. Hats off to the team behind this project!”
We also received high marks for our information architecture (how we structure the website and navigation for easy access).

Another Award-Winning Higher Ed Website
The Higher Goals award is the latest recognition and accolades we’ve received for websites we’ve built for colleges. Previously, LBC | Capital’s website earned a Gold Award from the AVA Digital Awards, while another client – Faith Baptist Bible College (Ankeny, Iowa) – received a Bronze Award at the 26th Annual EduAD Awards for their website rebuild.
