Distinctives - four points making us a little bit better
  • Next generation philosophy - At Ydop, we have studied and learned lessons from our predecessors, and are becoming the next generation of Web developers.  We are imitating successful models and discarding ones that haven’t served the site owners or their clients.

  • Cross generation designers – Most artists and graphic designers have signature styles.  At Ydop, we purposely involve talented designers from college age to nearly 50’s to put together an appropriate look and feel for your site graphics.  We don’t overwork a project and create a distracting and difficult to read site.  We believe the best designed sites on the Web have their strength in simplicity.

  • Client independence – Prospective clients sometimes express to us their concern about creating an (expensive) ongoing dependency on our programmers.  This is especially true for clients that have had experience with other companies.  Since it is important to keep a site’s content up to date and changing frequently, their concerns are valid.  Ydop believes that certain pages on your site can remain relatively static throughout a year, while others should change frequently – even daily.  That’s why Ydop uses Innovative Component Integration to put you in control of certain sections.  You can add, edit, or delete content from any online computer 24/7.  We build our sites with common elements (page headers and other common designs throughout the site) that can be changed in unison at any point in the future.

  • User oriented sites – Your site will perform much more effectively if you imitate the most successful sites on the Web;  i.e. using surfer oriented navigational opportunities as opposed to a “company oriented outline” as a navigational structure.  We believe in strategically designing navigational pathways that lead your customers through the experience and to the information you have for them, and graphics that complement the content instead of competing with it.
